Elaine is passionate and committed to fulfil this mission: Discover, Develop, Maximize, Share the POWERinU.

Elaine has 30 years of professional history, which includes working with diverse teams, from the fast growing small & medium-sized businesses to complex multi-national corporations, in varied emerging and mature industries in Asia-Pacific markets, such as IT, financial, government, industrial, document management, entertainment & healthcare. Throughout her multi-national corporate stints, she specialized in sales, business development, general management, people management, regional operations, customer service, learning & organizational development.

In 2008, Elaine embarked on a second career in management development training, consulting, mentoring and coaching, and built POWERinU Training & Coaching LLP (formerly, de’POWERinU Management Consultants LLP) in Singapore, where she resides with her family. She focused on areas such as leadership & management, change management, organizational development, learning & development, people & performance management, B2B sales/customer service excellence, personal empowerment/personal effectiveness, strategic HR & operational excellence, business & market development.

Elaine holds a BS degree in Applied Economics, a Master in Business Administration, Advanced Certification in Training and Assessment (ACTA) by Singapore WDA/IAL and is a certified Practicing Management Consultant (PMC) of the Singapore Business Advisors and Consultants Council.

She is a certified trainer of Global Learning by CEGOS (GLC) for Managerial Intelligence Levels 1 & 2, Creating and Delivering Powerful Presentations, Managing Business Change, Leading My Business, and Stakeholder Management. Elaine is certified IMPAX trainer for Strategic Consultative Selling & Superior Account Management, and certified MLB Switzerland trainer for various Management / Leadership programs. Elaine also co-designed and developed POWERinU’s TCOB training and consulting programs for fast-growing SMEs, and the EMPOWER programs for personal effectiveness.

Last June 2016, Elaine has completed certification program under Corporate Coach U (USA) and is now a Coaching Clinic Licensed Facilitator. In addition, Elaine Cercado has certified in Coach U (USA)’s coaching course and has earned the CEG (Core Essentials Graduate) designation.

Elaine has also served in various learning and development consulting and leadership roles – as regional sales learning and enablement manager for IDC Asia/Pacific, where she led the development and deployment of learning strategies and activities throughout the Asia-Pacific Sales organization, in close collaboration with the senior business and sales leaders; and as senior manager, learning and OD for NCS, Singapore’s largest IT solutions company, where she led the center of excellence for leadership development, sales transformation and enterprise learning management.

In 2017, Elaine became a regional leadership program facilitator and trainer for The World Bank via the US-based Training Resources Group, Inc. (TRG). Elaine co-facilitated 3 programs including Personal Leadership Skills, Strengthening Leadership Skills and Supervisory Program, at various times in Vietnam, Croatia, Thailand and India.

Dick C. Cercado

Senior Consultant and Trainer – POWERinU Training and Coaching LLP

Dick has worked with diverse teams, from the fast-growing complex multi-national corporations, in varied emerging and mature industries in Asia-Pacific markets in Information and Communication Technology. Throughout his corporate stints, he specialized in customer services operations, business operations, business analysis, program & project management, people management, account relationship and stakeholder management.

Dick has been recognized for achieving business & people-oriented goals and results consistently. Throughout his career, he has enabled leaders to make data-driven business decisions.  He has led and implemented large-scale, complex projects; has developed or collaborated with winning teams in Southeast Asia; has motivated & led diverse teams to meet & exceed goals; and has been credited for continuously improving processes and productivity.

His professional successes are largely due to an exceptional set of knowledge, leadership and management skills, experiences and values. Principal among these are his focus on organization- or people-centric transformation; inherent multi-cultural sensitivity; servant leadership; and strong knowledge and practical experiences across Asia. He has also been blessed with a passion for life-long learning, a positive spirit, energy and resiliency!

Dick gained Masters in Business Administration from California State University Hayward, and Bachelor of Technology from Technological University of the Philippines. Dick has also earned the following certifications over the years: Certified ScrumMaster; Prince2 & MSP; Masters in Project Management from George Washington University; ITIL v3 Expert in IT Service Management; Licensed Coaching Clinic Facilitator and Core Essentials Graduate, both from Corporate/Coach U.

His extensive 30 years of professional and leadership experiences have served as his solid foundations in providing training and consulting solutions for change management, people and performance management, corporate coaching and project management programs.

Most recent stints were as: Business Operations Consultant – Global Operations ,Verizon Communications Singapore (2013-2017); Service Program Manager – APAC,  Verizon Communications Singapore (2011-2012); Regional Centre Service Manager – APAC, Verizon Communications Singapore (2008-2011); Regional Customer Service Manager – Southeast Asia, Verizon Communications Singapore (2000- 2007); and Operations Manager – Southeast Asia, NCR Philippines (1994-2000).
